We are Sarah & Andy, the curators of Hotels & Hand luggage – a small piece of internet born from our travels and adventures around the world, and a blog dedicated to the intrepid souls and wanderlust fanatics.

In 2018 we swapped our static lives for a life of constant movement, embarking on a journey of perpetual discovery and adventure.

Since then we’ve spent 30 days off-roading through the great Namib Desert all the way up to the steamy plains of the Caprivi strip. We’ve trekked through the Himalayan mountains, discovered the best of India, ventured to the coldest reaches of China and spent 2 months uncovering Japan’s mysteries. We can’t wait to see more of this extraordinary world!

We are the sum of our experiences, they shape our lives and make us who we are today, and we believe travel is the best way to enhance our lives, and to experience the truly remarkable.

We don’t like rushing through a destination, we like to absorb ourselves into new places and to live and breathe different lifestyles and cultures. We think this is the best way to experience the true essence of travel.

We are also researchers and planners when it comes to travel, something that stems from years of only having one or two weeks annual holiday, precious time from which we wanted the best possible experiences!
