Sure Dubai is known for its many exuberant hotels and flashy hotel suites, but Abu Dhabi definitely has its share too!
The St Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi offers an experience like no other with a hotel suite that is perched between two towers and suspended 200 meters above ground! The suite is at the height of indulgence, surely reserved for A-list celebrities and the uber-rich, especially with a whopping price tag of just £18,000 per night, yes you heard me right, that’s per night!
Entering the suite, guided into the grand majilis (living room) we were instantly struck with vertigo and some amazing 360 degree panoramas, with views of the city on one side and the Arabian gulf on the other! The imaginatively designed suite seems to guide you back into the majilis from each side, which also acts as the centre piece connecting the two wings together.
The hotel suite is a massive 1,120 square feet! It has its own private helipad, separate elevator access, in-room private spa, cinema room, fully kitted gym, not to mention the three bedrooms, four bathrooms, kitchen and separate staff quarters. All this wrapped with perfect, surrounding views of Abu Dhabi and beyond, with nearly every room having floor to ceiling glass, perfecting those panoramic vistas.
The luxurious feel is only enhanced by the suites furnishings and finish, blending traditional Arabic design with modern luxury. Featuring cascading strands of crystals, 24 carat gold leaf accents, chandeliers, leather wall tiles, hand-made glass mosaics and jewel-toned velvet upholstered walls.
The views are equally impressive!
